Free Eye Exams at Deaconess Center

On Wednesday, July 21st our partners at Eye Thrive will join us at Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being (1000 N. Vandeventer, Ave., St. Louis, MO 63113) to provide free eye exams and eyeglasses for children and youth ages 4 years through 18 years. All services are free of charge, and most eyeglasses will be made and dispensed onsite following the eye exam. Exams begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. Exam appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis until all exam appointments are filled. Appointments must be made in-person onsite on Wednesday, July 21st. Onsite registration for appointments begins at 8:30 a.m.

Because appointment slots are limited, if you are interested in scheduling an appointment, notify us of your interest by completing this form or calling Michael Shultz at (314) 356-2651. Please note, this notification does not guarantee an appointment slot. Appointments must be scheduled onsite at the event.

As a part of our ongoing Summer Meals Program grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals will be served until 9:30 a.m. and age-appropriate culturally competent books will be available for families to add to their at-home libraries, free of charge.

COVID-19 precautions are in place, and masks are required.
